Building partnerships is at the heart of our work. Collaborating with other organizations, businesses, and community groups allows us to amplify GROW Windham’s impact by pooling resources, expertise, and networks. These partnerships enhance our ability to achieve our mission more effectively and efficiently. Partnership collaboration provides opportunities for shared learning and innovation, helping to address complex social issues from multiple angles. Strategic partnerships are essential for maximizing a nonprofit’s reach and sustainability.
The Windham Youth Advocacy Collective is an initiative of GROW Windham that builds and amplifies youth voice and power within our community; so that youth have a say in what they learn, how they learn, and the decisions that impact them.

In 2015, GROW Windham established the Windham Community Food Network, to build relationships among food system partners and also to create a space for community members to have a voice in decision-making about food resources in Windham and across eastern CT. The WCFN is guided by community advocates, who guide and lead its programs, which include mutual aid food access; Plant-a-Row and gleaning from local farmers; community events, such as Veggiestock and the Know Your Farmer Fair; and support for local growers, with resources and skill-building. For more information, visit the WCFN website and Facebook pages.
