I joined the Windham Youth Network after spending two years with the Windham Youth Core. This gave me the experience that will prepare me for my future role at WYN. While working for WYN, I achieved valuable milestones that have meaning not only for me but also for the youth in my community.I became more involved with WYN to advocate for what I believe is fair for those youthful members who are unable to express their concerns for many reasons. One of our current campaigns I want to share is the “Open The Bathroom!” campaign. In this campaign, we are fighting for those youths who are being restricted from using the school bathroom, causing them to feel uncomfortable at school and sometimes showing themselves as unmotivated since they are being stripped away from basic human needs. These are the people who we fight for, serve, and defend.
